Particularities when selling starter batteries
In connection
with the sale of vehicle batteries, we are, if you
end users are obliged according to § 10 BattG, to pay a deposit of
per vehicle battery
7.50 euros including sales tax to be charged
if you do not return an old
vehicle battery at the time of purchasing a new vehicle battery. The deposit is not included in the purchase price
and is shown next to the final price on the item.
Give back
an old vehicle battery to us, which we have in our range as a new battery in accordance with Section 9
BattG or we are
obliged under the statutory provisions to take them back free of charge
and to refund the deposit amount.
If we
have issued a deposit token in accordance with Section 10 Paragraph 1 Sentence 3 BattG,
depends on the return of the deposit stamp.
The place of return is the address given in the imprint.
Returning the old battery by post is not permitted due to the dangerous goods ordinance.
Used vehicle batteries
can alternatively be handed in free of charge at recycling centers
. The deposit we charge will not be refunded by the public –
recycling centers. However, you
have the option there of having the return of the
old vehicle battery acknowledged on the token.
You will receive the battery deposit back from
on presentation of the receipted deposit label.
